Dogs

  • Don't bring your dog to a store and leave the dog in the car when you go inside the store

  • If the windows are shut, the car can get up to 160° Fahrenheit inside on a really hot summer day

  • On a 73° day, the inside of a car can reach up to 120°F in 30 minutes

  • Try to leave your dog at an air-conditioned home where it is safe for the dog

  • Dogs can get heatstroke from the car being too hot, and dogs can die

  • Even if the windows are open, the dog could still suffer from heatstroke or die

  • Only take your dog jogging on cool mornings or evenings

  • Dogs' paws can burn if they contact with hot pavement

  • Try to keep your dog indoors
